SILVER ACRYLIC Mirror is a very versatile and safe product used in areas where vibration or flexure may occur (ie. Boats, caravans). Acrylic Mirror sheet is intended primarily for areas such as interior fittings for decoration, display and point of sale, visual merchandising, store design applications in the food service industry, and where safety requires the shatter resistance of acrylic plastic sheet.

Acrylic mirror is 17 times stronger than glass mirror and weighs approximately half as much. It can be cut, drilled, shaped, and thermoformed — making it ideal for applications where glass mirror would be impractical, unsafe, or too heavy.

Care & Maintenance

Clean acrylic mirror with a soft microfibre cloth and warm soapy water. Never use glass cleaners containing ammonia, abrasive cleaners, or paper towels which can scratch the surface. For stubborn marks, use a quality plastic cleaner and polish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is acrylic mirror as reflective as glass mirror?+
Acrylic mirror provides excellent reflectivity that is very close to glass mirror quality. For most display, retail, and decorative applications, the difference is imperceptible. For applications requiring the highest optical quality, consider our EuroMir® range.
Can acrylic mirror be used in bathrooms?+
Yes — acrylic mirror is ideal for bathroom applications due to its shatter resistance and moisture resistance. It will not fog as quickly as glass and is much safer in wet environments.
Can acrylic mirror be thermoformed?+
Yes — acrylic mirror can be heat bent and thermoformed to create curved mirror surfaces. The reflective coating remains intact during forming. This is a unique advantage over glass mirror which cannot be curved without specialised equipment.
