H.I.A. bridges the gap between standard acrylic and polycarbonate — offering better impact resistance than cast acrylic while maintaining superior optical clarity and UV resistance. It is a cost-effective solution for safety glazing, corporate signage, and point of sale displays.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I choose H.I.A. over standard acrylic?+
Choose H.I.A. when you need better impact resistance than standard cast acrylic but don't need the extreme impact strength of polycarbonate. H.I.A. is ideal for signage, safety glazing, and displays where breakage risk needs to be minimised while maintaining excellent optical clarity.
Can H.I.A. be laser cut?+
H.I.A. is an extruded product and can be laser cut, though it may produce a slightly frostier edge than cast acrylic. For applications requiring flame-polished laser cut edges, cast acrylic is preferred.
