Polystyrene (PS) is a versatile, cost-effective thermoplastic available in general purpose (GPPS) and high impact (HIPS) grades. It is widely used in signage, display, lighting, and packaging applications where clarity or formability are required.
GPPS (crystal clear polystyrene) offers glass-like clarity at a fraction of the cost of acrylic, making it ideal for picture frame glazing and light diffuser panels. HIPS provides excellent impact resistance and thermoformability for packaging and vacuum formed products.
