Holland Plastics manufactures custom signs and lettering for businesses, shopfitters, architects, builders and direct clients from our workshop in Molendinar on the Gold Coast. We have full in-house capability across CNC laser cutting, CNC routing, vacuum forming and assembly, which means the complete sign is built under one roof.

We work with acrylic, ACM, foamed PVC, polycarbonate, stainless steel and LED components to produce everything from single office signs to multi-site retail rollouts.

Laser Cut Acrylic Letters

Laser cut acrylic letters are now the industry standard and are available up to 30mm thick for clear and opal, and 10mm thick for colours. This means the colour is through and through the entire letter, assuring no more unsightly scratches, chips or blemishes that can occur in a painted finish.

Our 3000W laser polishes the edge return of all letters and logos as it cuts through the material, which provides a superior finish for your job. Our acrylic products are designed for outdoor use, but beautiful enough for indoor or any application where precision is required.

Custom Signs FAQs

What Materials Are Used For Custom Signs?+

We manufacture signs in acrylic, foamed PVC, ACM (aluminium composite), polycarbonate, stainless steel, and timber. Acrylic is the most common for both indoor and outdoor signage thanks to its weather resistance and finish.

Can You Produce Illuminated Signs?+

Yes, we make illuminated box signs, halo-lit letters, and edge-lit panels using LED modules. Faces can be vacuum-formed, flat-cut acrylic, or routed ACM depending on the look you are after.

How Long Do Custom Signs Take To Produce?+

Most custom signs are produced within 1 to 2 weeks from approved artwork. Larger or fully fabricated illuminated signs may take 2 to 4 weeks. We will confirm a lead time when you approve the design.

What Is The Difference Between Laser Cutting And CNC Routing For Signs?+

Laser cutting is faster for thin sheet materials and produces a flame-polished edge on acrylic, which is ideal for letters and fine detail. CNC routing handles thicker materials and can produce 3D profiling, pocketing and v-grooving that a laser cannot. For most flat signage we use the laser. For built-up 3D signs and thick substrate work we use the router. Many jobs use both, we select the right method for each component.

Can You Handle Interstate And National Rollouts?+

Yes. We have supplied multi-site signage rollouts to national retailers, franchise networks and property developers. We batch-produce, quality-check and crate signs for freight-safe delivery across all states. Installation drawings and fixing templates are included with every interstate order.
